I help companies sharpen their positioning, connect with modern audiences and turn marketing into a clear, executable growth system.
Strategy when the picture is blurry. Leadership when a team needs senior direction. A sharp outside perspective when a brand needs to become more relevant, more focused or more effective.
Positioning, go-to-market, portfolio thinking, priorities and plans that can actually be executed.
Senior marketing leadership without adding another full-time executive role.
Understanding how attention, belonging and relevance are built in a world shaped by communities, creators and fandom.
Deep sector experience for companies inside gaming, and for brands that want to enter it without looking like tourists.
Marketing is a long game.
Strong brands are built through hundreds of decisions that point in the same direction: understanding the audience, creating meaning, building trust and knowing what not to do.
Gaming taught me early what happens when people care deeply about products, worlds and brands. They discuss them, defend them, criticise them, recommend them and create around them.
That logic now shapes much of modern marketing, far beyond gaming. Communities, creators, content and digital culture have changed how attention is earned.
The job is not to chase every trend. It is to understand the behaviour underneath it, decide what actually matters for your audience and your business, and build the marketing strategy around that.
My career started when communities were still built in forums, long before Facebook, TikTok or the creator economy became part of every marketing deck.
Over more than two decades I have worked in and around gaming, publishers, developers, consumer technology and entertainment, across strategy, brand, launches, partnerships, campaigns and leadership.
That experience gives me a useful perspective today: I understand the speed of modern marketing, but I am not impressed by novelty for novelty's sake. Not every brand needs TikTok. Not every audience lives on the newest platform. I help companies understand where their audiences actually are, what matters to them and which channels deserve attention.
If any of these sound familiar, that is usually where I come in.
Your positioning has become vague and everyone is saying something different.
Your marketing team needs senior direction, but not another permanent management layer.
You need to reach younger, digitally native audiences without sounding like you are trying too hard.
You want to enter gaming, entertainment or creator-led spaces in a way that feels credible.
Your organisation is changing and marketing needs a clearer role in that transformation.
Every engagement starts by understanding the real problem first. The goal is not to sell hours. It is to work out what your business actually needs, what should happen next and whether I am the right person to help.
A short, no-obligation conversation to understand the challenge, the context and whether there is a useful fit.
A focused, fixed-scope and fixed-fee assessment of your marketing, positioning, audiences and current setup. You get a clear outside view, priorities and concrete recommended next steps.
A real piece of work, not a sales exercise. If there is a case for further support, we define the setup that fits the problem: project-based, interim or fractional. No generic package and no forced retainer.
If you are dealing with a marketing, positioning, audience or leadership challenge, send me a note. A first conversation is simply about understanding whether I can actually help.
